Old-fashioned Weigela 'Rosea'

🌸 Colour and flowering

• A blaze of pink: This is the cultivar's main calling card. The buds are a rich pink, and when they open the flowers become a soft pink with a white tint inside. This play of colours creates an incredibly striking spectacle.
• Flower shape: The flowers are large, bell-shaped or tubular, gathered into small inflorescences.
• Length of flowering: It begins to flower at the end of May or the beginning of June and delights the eye for 3–4 weeks. A repeat, less abundant flowering is possible at the end of summer.

📏 Size and shrub

• Classic shape: The shrub is spreading and rounded, with picturesquely drooping branches.
• Medium-sized: It usually reaches 1.5–2 metres in height and width. It grows quite fast.
