Ninebark 'Schuch' (Schuch)

The 'Schuch' cultivar is one of the best red-leaved ninebarks thanks to its ability to keep a rich colour even at the height of summer.

Characteristics of the cultivar:

• Foliage colour: The young foliage has a bright red-orange tint. Over time it becomes dark red or a rich wine colour, and in autumn it takes on bronze tones.
• Crown shape: The shoots grow vertically, forming a dense, compact bush with an elegant crown.
• Dimensions: A mature plant reaches 1.5–2 m in height and up to 1.5 m in width, which makes it smaller than the classic 'Diabolo'.
• Flowering: In June numerous corymb-like inflorescences of white-pink flowers appear, which look bright against the dark foliage.
