The 'Andre' cultivar is one of the best choices for creating bright splashes of colour in the garden thanks to its rich wine-red colouring.

Main characteristics:

• Leaf colour: The young leaves have a bright red or even orange tint, which later turns into a deep wine-red or dark purple.
• Size: A medium-sized shrub, usually reaching 1.5–2 m in height and up to 1.5 m in diameter.
• Crown shape: Dense, spreading and globe-shaped with numerous vertical shoots.
• Flowering: In June, small white-pink flowers appear, gathered in corymb-like inflorescences that create a beautiful contrast with the dark foliage.
