Ninebark 'Magic Ball'

This cultivar got its name from the perfectly round, compact shape of the shrub and the "magical" change in the colour of its foliage.

Play of colours: In spring the young foliage has bright orange-yellow shades. In summer it gradually deepens and becomes bright red, and closer to autumn it takes on deep purple tones.

Shape: The cultivar is distinguished by a naturally globe-shaped and very dense crown, which needs almost no shaping.

Dimensions: This is a relatively compact shrub that grows up to 1–1.2 m in height and diameter.

Flowering: In June–July the shrub becomes covered with pink-white corymb-like inflorescences, which look very striking against the bright foliage.
