Lawson's Cypress 'Ivonne'

A tall conifer with an ideal conical crown and rich golden-yellow colouring.

• Appearance: A tree 3–5 m tall, with a width of up to 1.5 m. It has a very dense, narrow crown. The branches grow vertically, which makes it ideal for narrow spaces.
• Foliage: Scale-like, soft to the touch. In the sun it retains a stable, bright golden-yellow colour throughout the year (it does not fade). In the shade it turns light green.
• Conditions: Requires full sun to preserve its golden tint. Prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Does not tolerate acidic or dried-out soils.
• Care: Frost-hardy, but in the first years after planting it needs protection from spring scorch. Tolerates pruning excellently, which allows it to keep an ideal shape.
