Main characteristics:

• Flowers: Large, of a rich ruby-red colour with a dark blotch inside.
• Flowering: May – June; flowers very profusely with dense inflorescences.
• Dimensions: Tall-growing; at 10 years of age the height is 1.5–1.8 m, and the width up to 1.6 m.
• Leaves: Large, elongated, dark green; evergreen.
• Conditions: Requires acidic soil and partial shade. Tolerates sun better than other red cultivars.
