Japanese Azalea 'Diamond Zamelrose' — a member of the famous "Diamond" series, which is renowned for its compactness, hardiness and exceptionally pure colours.

Key characteristics:

• Flowers: Double or semi-double, a rich bright pink (fuchsia) colour; the petals have a slight waviness.
• Flowering: End of May – June; it blooms so profusely that the shrub turns into a pink ball.
• Dimensions: Very compact; height up to 30–50 cm, width up to 60–80 cm; ideal for small gardens.
• Foliage: Small, dark green, glossy; in autumn it may take on crimson tones.
• Conditions: Requires acidic soil, a wind-sheltered, partially shaded spot and mulching.
• Frost resistance: High (down to -23...-25°C); it overwinters well under snow cover.
