Japanese Spiraea 'Golden Princess'

One of the most popular cultivars, prized for the stable golden colour of its foliage throughout the season.

• Appearance: A compact, dense, globe-shaped bush. Height — 50–60 cm, width — up to 1 m. The foliage is bright yellow (almost lemon in the sun), turning warm orange tones in autumn.
• Flowers: Small, pink, gathered into corymb inflorescences. They contrast very nicely with the golden foliage.
• Flowering: June – July.
• Conditions: Requires full sun to keep the bright colour of the foliage (in shade it turns green). Undemanding as to soil, but likes moderate moisture.
• Care: Fully frost-hardy. A low spring pruning is recommended to maintain a nice shape of the bush.
