Deutzia 'Strawberry Fields' (Deutzia × hybrida)

This cultivar stands out among other deutzias for its unique flower colour, which resembles the colour of a ripe strawberry.

• Dimensions: A medium-sized shrub, reaching 1.5–2 m in height and roughly the same in width.
• Crown: The shoots are strong, at first growing vertically, and with age they bend beautifully into an arc under the weight of the flowers.
• Flowers: Large (up to 2.5–3 cm), star-shaped. The petals have a rich pink-crimson colour on the outside and a soft pink, almost white, colour inside.
• Flowering period: June – July. The flowering is very long and dense; the bush is literally "plastered" with inflorescences.
• Foliage: Dark green, rough; in autumn it may take on yellowish or bronze tints.
