Key characteristics of the cultivar

• Aroma and flavour: Fresh, minty with pronounced sweetish notes of chocolate and cocoa. The flavour is mild, without harsh bitterness.
• Appearance: The plant has a very ornamental appearance. Unlike ordinary mint, its stems are dark purple, almost black. The leaves are rounded, serrated, a rich green with a noticeable crimson-purple tint and veining.
• Habit: The bush is compact, lush, reaching 30–50 cm in height. It spreads quickly in width thanks to its creeping rhizome.
• Flowering: In July–August small but pretty lavender-pink inflorescences open, attracting bees.
