Cotoneaster 'Coral Beauty': The coral pearl of the garden

The cultivar 'Coral Beauty' got its name thanks to the incredible quantity of bright fruits that resemble a scattering of corals on a green carpet.

Appearance: An evergreen shrub with thin shoots that creep along the ground and root easily.

Dimensions: Very compact, only 40–60 cm tall, but capable of spreading in width up to 1.5–2 m.

Foliage: Small (up to 2 cm), elliptical, dark green and very glossy. In winter part of the foliage may take on a beautiful purple tint.

Flowers: In May–June numerous small white flowers open, which have a pleasant aroma and attract bees.

Fruits: The main feature — the mass ripening of orange-red berries in August, which remain on the branches until spring.
