Hydrangea paniculata Framboisine (Hydrangea paniculata Framboisine / 'Samarskya Lydia')

One of the brightest, most compact and most desirable panicle hydrangea varieties. Its main feature is an incredibly rich, explosive ruby colour in autumn and a neat habit.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Bush shape: Compact, dense, rounded. The shoots are strong, rigid, dark red, and hold the large inflorescences perfectly without falling apart in the rain.
• Dimensions: The height and width of a mature bush are only 1-1.2 m. Ideal for small gardens and container growing.
• Flowering: Abundant and long - from July to the end of September.
• Inflorescences: Large (up to 20-25 cm), cone-shaped, very dense.
• Colour change: At the start of flowering they are white-cream with a greenish tip, quickly turn pink, and by the end of summer take on an intense, deep ruby-raspberry shade.
