White Spruce 'Conica'

A popular dwarf spruce with a dense conical crown that grows slowly.

• Appearance: Has a very dense, regular conical shape. The height of a mature plant is 1.5–2 m, width up to 1 m. It grows very slowly, adding only 3–6 cm per year.
• Needles: Very short, soft, fine, light green or emerald. Not prickly.
• Conditions: Sun or light partial shade. Likes moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Does not tolerate waterlogging.
• Care: Frost-resistant, but young plants may need protection from spring scorch. Tolerates urban conditions and drought poorly. Hardly needs any trimming.
