Japanese Barberry 'Aria'

This is a relatively new and quite rare cultivar that wins over gardeners with its unusual colouring. The main feature of 'Aria' is its variegated foliage, which looks very fresh throughout the entire season.

Decorative features

• Foliage: Small, spatulate. The base colour is a rich green or olive, but it is densely covered with creamy-white and pale-yellow speckles and streaks. From a distance the shrub appears light, almost "misty".
• Autumn changes: In autumn the light parts of the foliage take on soft pink or pastel orange tones, which looks very elegant.
