Japanese Barberry 'Golden Zwerg'

Japanese Barberry 'Golden Zwerg' — a true "little sun" for your garden. The cultivar is prized for its incredibly bright golden colour and its very compact, neat form.

Main characteristics:

• Leaf colour: Throughout the season the foliage keeps a rich lemon-yellow or golden colour. In autumn the bush becomes even brighter, taking on orange-red shades.
• Crown shape: Very dense, compact, globe-shaped or slightly spreading. It grows slowly, which lets it keep a tidy appearance for a long time.
• Size: A true dwarf — the height of an adult plant is usually 30–50 cm, and the crown diameter up to 50–60 cm.
• Flowering: In May, small yellow flowers open that harmonise with the leaf colour.
• Fruit: Small red berries that decorate the bush in autumn and winter.
