Nordmann Fir 'Robusta'

In Ukraine it is often simply called Nordmann Fir 'Robusta'.

Caucasian Fir 'Robusta'

A tall, majestic conifer with a regular conical crown and very dense branches.

• Appearance: A fast-growing cultivar. It has a symmetrical, broadly pyramidal form. The branches grow in dense tiers, often touching the ground. The height of a mature plant is 10–15 m.(30+ years)
• Needles: Long (up to 4 cm), broad, glossy, dark green. On the underside they have two bright white stripes. The needles are very dense and point forward, which makes the branches look full.
• Cones: Large, up to 15–20 cm long, greenish at first and later turning dark brown. They grow vertically upwards.
